- Hands-on development experience with Core Java
- 2+ years experience with Kotlin a plus
- 5+ years experience in developing Android applications with interactive UI
- Knowledge with the following databases: FireBase, Room Persistence Library
- Experience in creating scalable, dynamic, extensible and highly performant UI components
- Familiarity with source control, GIT and working with complex branching
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success in cross-team collaboration
- Mentor other engineers while raising the bar on the ShelfPerks technical excellence
- Comfortable designing and communicating technical design choices
- Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
